They are attentive, they give their suggestions for items and are always checking in. I highly recommend Dawson's for family, individuals, and couples!

  • Went on Saturday for brunch with a friend and the menu had plenty of items for either breakfast or lunch, reasonably priced and absolutely yummy! I had the biscuits and gravy and it was very filling as well as delicious. The bacon was high quality, the potatoes were perfectly cooked and the biscuits and gravy was very homestyle! The interior is clean and inviting. Highly recommend this local spot!

  • The best breakfast and lunch in town in my opinion. Always a super friendly staff taking care of you. Good quality food coming out of the kitchen. The pastrami Sandwich on the pretzel bun is always delicious. Love the Wagyu sliders, and shrimp tacos as well!! The Chicken Fried Steak is the best one in town. Love the chill atmosphere here!

  • We were blown away by Dawson's Bar and Grill! The vibe was great! Everyone greeted us with a smile and service was quick and very efficient! We chose the Pastrami Sandwich with seasoned fries and OMG, the pretzel bun was so soft and complemented the super lean pastrami stacked up inside!! We loved everything about our meal and to top it all off...the entire place is absolutely SPOTLESS. INCLUDING THE BATHROOM! We will definitely be back. And we live an hour away. Totally worth it!!!   • 5 stars Dawson's Bar & Grill in Dixon never disappoints! The staff is always friendly, and the service is top-notch--quick and attentive without being overbearing. Another great meal here: the Chicken Piccata was a delicious with that bright, lemony sauce, and the Ragin' Cajun pasta had just the right spicy kick. Yum! It's exactly why we keep coming back every time we're heading to or from the Bay Area--this is our reliable stop for consistently delicious food in a cozy, historic spot.

  • I visit this wonderful establishment often- all meals rock! Great menu options including a daily Happy Hour drink & small plate service M-F 3pm-6pm. They also offer many free events like Bingo and Trivia nights where they give away local area gift cards. Also most weekends they have live music and holiday celebrations. It's actually a Historic Dixon Business. The wooden bar is original but has been re-done. Drinks flow, including flavored lemonades and teas. A must visit for any occasion but just remember the kitchen closes at 9pm 7 days a week. Come and check them out in downtown Dixon. Gregg & Jill Orr are hands on owners that contribute so much to downtown events, decor and clean-up.
